SION Surf Camp is a great place to stay if you are looking for an all inclusive package between 1st November & 31st May, during the peak season in the South West of Sri Lanka.

Run by a lovely Jersey Island couple Lee and Anji who have been in the area for over 10 years. The surf camp is located right on the beach and is perfect for beginners and experienced surfers alike. They offer lessons, yoga and transport to a wide range of surf breaks from ’The Rock’ at Kabalana bay right through to Weligama for more of a beginners wave.

Sion also had a great beginner-intermediate surf point directly out front. Sion Surf Point

Beach Front Camp is a, 4 bedroom villa, between Ahangama and Midigama. New from Sion Surf Camp team in 2015. Booked weekly, all inclusive double and triple rooms with rates per week starting at €375 or €495 inc board and lessons. Sion Surf Lagoon Retreat is 400m away and also has the same rates.

Beach Front Camp sleeps up to groups of 10 if you book early enough to make an exclusive week.

• Unlimited tea and coffee
• 4 dinners at the camp
