KBH Restaurant
Each day a traditional, mouth-watering, Sri Lankan curry and rice is cooked for the family and willing Surf South Sri Lanka friends. The menu varies on a daily basis with fish, chicken and seasonal vegetables freshly sourced each morning from the local market and fishermen. Lunch or dinner is great value at from 500 LKR for rice and curry and around 2000 LKR per person for a fish BBQ, with generous portions. They make a great effort to vary menu each day and ensure you try new dishes so you won’t be disappointed for choice. To reserve your place at the table you need to book by 6 pm the previous day and ask for any preferences. Private tables can be arranged for big groups.
Ketature Beach
The beach a great private bay about 200m wide, with couple of sun loungers and two batik shops in each corner selling a range of light weight sarongs, dresses, shirts and carved souvenirs. Chances are you will have the beach to yourself although you may have to share with the occasional guest from the Barbarian Ayurvedic or Cape Weligama Resorts either side. Jungle Beach on the left of the beach you can walk round or paddle out, two great reef right and left breaks. The right can be shallow, especial when the wave sucks up to the reef so take care for your ability.
